Product Description

Teltonika RUT423, RUT425, RUT435 and RUT438 are compact routers offering high speed data rate connectivity to the WiMAX networks. Router is compliant with IEEE802.16e-2005 WiMAX Wave 2 standard and supports mobile wireless connectivity. 10/100 Base-T interface and integrated DHCP server allow easy connection to any device with ethernet cable. Router implements dual independent transmit chain with advanced 2Tx closed-loop diversity (2T-CLD) algorithm for significantly increased link budget, improved cell coverage and superior mobile performance. 2T-CLD delivers diversity gains well beyond single Tx solutions and ensures the best diversity for any channel environment.

Standard package contains

  • Router RUT4xx
  • Euro PSU
  • 2 x WiMAX antennas (swivel, RP-SMA male)
  • Ethernet cable (1.5 m)
  • 2 x hook and loop profiles
  • QSG (Quick Start Guide)
  • Packaging box

  • LAN
  • WiMAX i It is a broadband wireless data communications technology based around the IEEE 802.16 standard providing high speed data over a wide area.

  • External WiMAX antenna i WiMAX antenna which connects to device via external connector
  • 1x LAN 10/100Mbps Ethernet port i Device can host a network up to one wired networking device. Ethernet port speed is 100 megabits per second.
  • IEEE 802.16e-2005 i WiMAX technology standard.
  • WiMAX Wave 2 Complian i Device is compliant with IEE802.16e-2005 WiMAX Wave 2
  • Input voltage – 5 VDC
  • Operating temperature range – 0º to 50º C
  • Storage temperature range – -20º to 70º C
  • Power consumption – < 5W
  • LED indication – 1x Power, 1x LAN

  • Bridge mode i Bridge mode lets end device to connect directly to operator and receive IP address from it
  • Ping reboot i Device can take appropriate action if it cannot ping specific IP address
  • Periodic reboot i Device can be configured to restart periodically
  • OpenVPN i OpenVPN is an open-source software application that implements virtual private network (VPN) techniques for creating secure point-to-point or site-to-site connections in routed or bridged configurations and remote access facilities. It uses a custom security protocol that utilizes SSL/TLS for key exchange.
  • VLAN i A virtual LAN (VLAN 802.1Q) is any broadcast domain that is partitioned and isolated in a computer network at the data link layer (OSI layer 2)
  • Firewall i Device has configurable firewall (Port forwarding, traffic rules)
  • IP/MAC filter i Device can block devices with certain MAC addresses or allow connect only those devices, which MAC addresses are in the MAC list
  • TR-069 i TR-069 (Technical Report 069) is a technical specification that defines an application layer protocol for remote management of end-user devices
  • DHCP server i The Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) is a network protocol used to assign IP addresses and provide configuration information to devices such as servers, desktops, or mobile devices, so they can communicate on a network using the Internet Protocol (IP)
  • Dynamic DNS i Dynamic DNS (DDNS) is a domain name service allowing to link dynamic IP addresses to static hostname.
